I do wish there was some way we could get this on xbox.
It’s a weird situation wherein Gotfriends generosity ends up unintentionally denying it for users on console.
I’m in no way blaming or complaining about Gotfriends in the slightest - It’s really down to microsoft not implementing the promised freeware section in the Marketplace.
That said, I would gladly pay for it if it was released with a reasonable price tag.
Unable to release freeware on console. We aren’t going to charge for it either.
It then becomes a product that has to be maintained and supported throughout the lifecycle.
Not saying we aren’t going to, we plan on it. But we aren’t ready to charge customers for something that is highly experimental, broken in alot of aircraft, and not ready for the simulator.
I know how the flightsim community is and I would rather focus on creating aircraft than hunting down a support email bug about why their dalmatian isn’t sitting correctly in Bredok’s 737.
Thanks for the response. Yeah, completely understandable, and it’s great that you can offer these free, more experimental and playful products, and I absolutely wouldn’t want that to change.
I also hadn’t really appreciated that putting something on the marketplace, even if free, or sold ‘as is’, implies a commitment to that product going forwards - which again totally makes sense.
The sim on xbox is, really, quite remarkable and something that i didn’t we’d see on a console, but it does have understandable limitations.
I suppose we can’t help looking enviously over the fence at PC simmers sometimes though - but at least we do have Kilo and Milo!
I’d absolutely pay for it, especially if you had a controller (like Campout) in the toolbar that would let you adjust the scale and position of the animal avatars to get them just right. Still love it as is, though!
Any chance of an African grey parrot please … My 2 would love to learn to fly with me in the cockpit… until. Now they are limited to driving trucks… Not got their wings quite yet… Lol
