Released: MD-80

I think people who are complaining about the textures are not familiar or new to the Maddog and what it brings to this platform. I don’t know how many times, i’ve read some comments on LNAV/VNAV not working properly in just about any aircraft in MSFS, this is not the case with the Maddog. It can fly just about any procedures and it does it well. The plane behave like it should The FM is excellent. It feels like an airliner compare to anything we have in the sim.

IMO, the Bae-146 fails very short in comparison. It has very little failures, Yes, all the switches works, but you just flip them all at once and nothing happens. It’s very shallow in terms of simulation. The FM is also sub standard. It’s not the Bae-146 is not a decent aircraft is just very shallow when you start to look deeper. People who don’t know the difference might not understand why. The Bae-146 is more like the CRJ. Things works but that’s it. If shallow depth is all you are interested in. The Bae-146 is great value. Lots of different liveries and variant. I flew it this weekend. It’s work. It does what it supposed to do but I feel like it’s missing out.

On the other hands, The maddog is always around the corner to teach you a lesson (if you enable realistic mode). If you make a mistake, you pay the price. That’s how it should be. While there is a few 2d textures in a few places, the performance is absolutely amazing like always. I will take that over some shiny textures.
