Depends on what you want in an aircraft. They are very different aircraft in terms of overall design and use cases, obviously. Iād say for most people, the 146 is probably the better choice - it just looks a bit nicer in the cockpit textures, itās a bit more accessible - and itās a bit more than half the price of the MD.
However, if youāre a fan of this type, this is as good as it gets right now. And probably as good as itāll get in this sim for this type. Thereās a reason why this is considered by many to be the yardstick by which other MDās are judged. And with their track record, itāll probably get a fair few updates along the way.
Is it perfect? No. If youāre on the fence about it, probably give it a pass enjoy the 146. This is not an aircraft intended for every simmer.

Thanks, very helpful. I got the 146 yesterday, so will focus on that for now and maybe consider the MD-80 laterā¦or the 737ā¦or the Fenix Airbus

I dont have that blur. Are you using resolution scaling?
I am @4k 100% scaling = no scaling. Clear as day for me.

Same settings scaling 100% @5120x1440, itās blurry. I already sent a ticket

Texture was on high, after switching to ultra everything becomes sharp

Yes, definitely worth the price in my book! Also, its only 15 euro or 16 usd more than the 146 so not even close to double the price. Am I seeing something different from everyone complaining about the price compared to the 146? 65 USD for the 146 and 75 euro for the MD-82 for me?
For me personally the bae 146 isnāt an aircraft that interests me. I totally understand why people like it, but the MD series is one Iāve flown on many times as a passenger and strikes a wonderful era in aviation for me where you have some automation, mixed glass/gauges, new school/old school feel. If any of that strikes your fancy donāt hesitate!

I am having issues getting my throttles to move/work. I tried my Thrustmaster setting to FBWās 320, wasnāt calibrated correctly. Then switched over to a Boeing profile that I have, nothing works.
Any suggestions?

OK, Iām soldā¦and have now bought it in a fit of excitementā¦loading it up now. Docs are extensive, which is good and loading manager looks next level.
Just to cofnirm pricing - Ā£50 for the 146, 90 euros = c. Ā£75 for the MD-82, so 50% more, and looking good for it so farā¦
Can you guys confirm that you get a download manager / installer with this plane? I hate dealing with Sim Marketās update system.
Out of curiosity - how long did you guys have to wait for your forum authorization, in order to be able to get to the official liveries? Itās keeping me hanging so far.
