Important Update! - I just uploaded an update to the addon, I deleted too much from the layout.json. The update fixes the issue. (although maybe some people already figured out how to fix it)
In keeping with my series of airports in Northern New England, here’s The Birches Resort Seaplane Base, located in Rockwood, Maine at about the mid point of Moosehead lake, just to the west of Mt Kineo, which is on an island in the middle of the lake. The Birches Resort was built in the 1930’s as a hunting and fishing lodge. Privately owned and operated by the Willard family for over 40 years, it’s an 11,000 acre preserve in the heart of Maine’s Great North Woods, the last remaining wilderness in New England. The current owner, John Willard, is a licensed Maine Master Guide and Commercial Floatplane Pilot. John is well known in the region and offers sight seeing cruises in his 1947 PA-12 Piper Super Cruiser seaplane, N4151M. Anybody want to do up a paint for the Shock Ultra Floats (or Flight replicas Grasshopper) as N4151M?
The resort has 3 Dock parking locations and ample space for takeoffs and landings, but I didn’t include any fueling options with this airport.
I’ve got to say, I’m sooo taken by the beauty of the area surround the resort. I hope you are, too. Such a great place to fly with a float plane in the area surrounding the resort.

P.S. You won’t find ME56 on any FAA charts, but if you’re in the area, you’ll definitely find seaplanes flying to and fro from this location and parked at the resort.
P.P.S. I’ve included 3 .BGL files, 1 for each dock parking spot, each of which will show a plane if activated if you’d like some company parked nearby. Just swap out the Layout.json with Layout.txt, and delete the section for the parking spot you’ll be using. Don’t forget to make sure you don’t leave a comma after the last record in the list or the airport won’t show up.
