Any Marketplace ETA?

Is it possible to only purchase mission hub and would that work with other helicopters?

Good question - I haven’t experimented with it yet other than to open it and look at the included MH60 missions.

That said, here are the current docs, which are a work in progress:

You could also ask on the Miltech Discord:

They have a dedicated channel for the Mission Hub.

Hey guys - sorry for the late reply, really needed to take a rest after launch

We cannot provide an exact ETA, but expecting 1-2 weeks leadtime from now. We had some issues with Marketplace encryption to resolve.

Thanks a lot!!

Many of those can be disabled based on user preference. For example, our force trim implementation: Force Trim System | Miltech Simulations Documentation Hub

Mission Hub is standalone, fully independent, and fully aircraft agnostic. Will work with any heli.
However, keep in mind that the included predefined missions are for MH60 only for now.

It seems like the flexibility inherent in the Mission Hub, combined with it being aircraft-agnostic and not limited to just the MH60, would warrant you guys creating a separate thread dedicated to it to increase awareness.

I think a lot of folks would really enjoy standalone missions not tied into the Career Mode grind in FS2024.

Well i also was a bit concerned with the handling, but i must say it’s handling with my puma x helicopter controls is an abolute joy to fly.

Still only took it for a couple of flights and have a great deal to explore, but for now it’s my new favority chooper in the sim, i might even prefer it over the h145 .. what used to be a great chopper until the dev’s become silent.

Thank you miltech for this nice addon

Hey, follow up question, don’t mean to sound impatient(even though I am) but want to know how true Asobos claim they vastly sped up their marketplace ingestion process, is the fixed version submitted already?

Took her for a short flight around the block at Kodiak. Very nice so far!

I have to use a lever on my joystick which is held in position with a spring (usually used as a brake axis but I use it as the collective axis). When the autopilot is in “Baro Altitude Hold”: is it possible to set collective to 0% / down / or in my case let the spring loaded lever go and the helicopter stays at the altitude?

My guess is yes.

When I move my collective while in alt hold mode, the collective moves a little but the autopilot quickly regains command of the collective and moves it to where it wants it.

Initial impressions:

This is a very nice product overall, with the three variants and the current pricing it is really nice. Since HPG stopped working the small niche of modern helis for MSFS was almost non-existant, and this is a great addition.

Visuals are very nice, I think Blackbird did a heck of a job with the model and textures, there are some errors here and there I found a couple of areas in the external model where the polygons could be better and there’s a light at the tail that is floating in the air but despite minor things it looks awesome! Cockpit also looks really very nice and there is where we spend most of the time.

Sounds by Echo19 are good, I think they are over-hyped because this is ok but not extraordinary, some sounds are missing like some thuds and bumps when you land or wheels in the pavement when rolling, at some moments I feel the sounds are fighting against each other instead of mixing. Don’t get me wrong, it really sounds very nice but is not something remarkable and has some room for improvement.

Systems: They are fine, I think Miltech did a lot of effort to provide as many things as possible, the FLIR is very nice albeit it works even with the cover on, the loading of flight plans via te miltech insplanner is also nice and more realistic than say, importing from simbrief, this adds to the immersion of what is the mission for this Heli.

Flight model: It’s really fine, this Heli is flown mostly with AFCS on, so you use the pedals to steer and the cyclic to control speed with the collective for altitude, it is very easy to fly and I think it is very reliable. I couldn’t get force trim to work, maybe my mistake.

AP is fine but the approach mode feels totally wrong, it is intended to decrease altitude and speed but it focus in altitude so you can actually gain speed first while precipitating to the ground, I tend to believe this needs some tuning.

The engine startup is completely scripted, for example I have hardware for GA aircraft to turn on magnetos and starter, with this I could start the engine even wit all covers on, no battery, no APU no fuel, nothing. This is expected from a non-study level product but it is a little too evident. If you poke around more I’m sure plenty of things like this could appear. Poor work by the testers here because I think this is easy to fix by the devs.

There are several very important keybinds missing, some of them hard to believe like no way to adjust heading, cmon! it’s the heading bug, also no way to adjust hover altitude and the bidings to control speed in crew hover mode did not work for me. Even using Spad.next some of the bindings are difficult, hover altitude for example is not easy to handle even with Spad.

Overall I think this is great, I think it is quite far from the H145 in the best days of HPG but is certainly better than most other modern helis in the sim. In fidelity and realism is not comparable to Taog’s products but Taog has done simpler helis so far.

I think it will be a really great product once a couple of updates and fixes are done.

This is really an amazing aircraft.

Now if only someone would do some tutorials - us rotor-n00bs could really use some!

What kind of tutorials? Specific to the MH-60?
I know there are some SMEs (subject matter experts) working on some videos for it, but I have some basic helicopter beginner lessons in the Cabri G2 to get you started.

How do you engage and disengage the rotor brake? Clicking on it does nothing. It should be a gradual movement but cant figure out how to do this.

Check the manual - the rotor brake has to be bound. It is not clickable.

Hello everyone!
First of all, thanks everyone for your support and feedback. I’m generally very active around launches over here, but I must admit that this one has exceeded our team’s capacity to respond to all comments. We are a rather small team, and underestimated the popularity of the aircraft.

Just taking a few minutes to provide an update on what’s next for MH60:

Fantastic! I’ve been able to bind some stuff like the Tail Wheet lock/unlock and CRS/HDG controls with Mobiflight, but I haven’t been able to figure this one out yet. Looks like I won’t have to.
