So, the problem is exist :frowning:

On FBW A320 I do not have this problem with ILS. I think it is a bug, not Asobo

We would love to, and have one ready, but it’s no use if it doesn’t display any better in MP than anything else. Might be worth me trying it out soon but currently up to my neck with update work since SU9, so it will have to wait.

For everyone having Glideslope issues, it seems like there is a new thermals and turbulance model in SU9 that is breaking a lot of ILS and RNAV approaches on many planes now. This may need an adjustment in the autopilot settings that only Asobo can do.

And one more bug. I fly in VATSIM and use COM frequency for talking with ATC.
But, if the frequency ATC is 120.000 (for example), you CAN`T set this frequency on COM panel (pedestal), because after you do this. my final frequency will be is 122.005. NOT 122.000

COM panel can`t set 122.000. Only 122.005

So, I must use FMC RAD-NAV page for set correct 122.000 freq

And one more bug ^)

I dont why, but sometimes CONCORDE cannot takeoff. Just cant come off the ground. The fuel settings are set correctly. V1, V2, vref also calc and correct.

For this situation helps only reload aircraft :frowning:

Can’t speak about your first bug as it’s not one I have checked ( although it should be okay as long as you can set it in the FMC anyway ). Second bug is 100% MSFS - happens with all airplanes, just occasionally. I have no idea what causes it.

About the first bug it is easy to reproduce. Run vPilot client for VATSIM, set freq use only COM panel 122.000 and you see your real freq is 122.005 in vPilot.

And about takeoff - on FBW a320 I can`t reproduce that. Only on CONC ^(

Well what’d ya know there is an issue with the ILS after all……it matters not a jot whose problem it is the fact is there is an issue! How I feel right now I can’t say without getting banned! Some here saying oh it prefect no problem works every time….and blaming me…suggesting I’m the incompetent one, .just because I said there is a problem….and the issue is NOT only at EGLL, but of course you’d all know that wouldn’t you since you’ve tested and retested and there is NO ISSUE…well he that laughs last….tell you what though I didn’t have an attitude before, just stating a fact, I’ve got one now though…

Is it skipping over 122.000? I take it you are aware that you can usually set the final 0 or 5, but the display is unable to show it? ie. If you use the mouse wheel carefully it clicks twice on each displayed number, the first is exact and the second is the .005 extra. You wouldn’t notice if using the in-game ATC menu but if you tune manually you have to get the right click.

I’m glad it’s not just me that was glued to the runway! It’s happened to me twice on Concorde, both at Charles de Gaulle on 08L both times from C&D but with a carefully followed checklist, both times I’ve reached nearly 250kt before the runway end.

Is this really a common bug on all aircraft in the sim? In 6 months of daily use I cannot remember this happening even once in any other plane.

Post SU9 I’ve consistently failed to capture ILS at Barcelona, Zurich, Charles de Gaulle. I was wondering what I was doing wrong so last night I flew two full approaches into Heathrow and it worked great both times. I always fly with live weather.

One more I would say… wish list? I recently fly in heavy rain and try to use the wipers (yea it’s useless in msfs but just to engage it to make it feels real) and found the wiper knobs are inop. Any chance to make one working?

No plane in MSFS has functional wipers. I’m not even sure that the Concorde even has wipers

how can you say that? of course, MSFS has aircraft with animated windshield wipers. That they do not wipe the rain from the windshield is something else!

Planes in msfs have wipers wiping with the switch, even the default ones have, yes they arnt wiping away the raindrops yet and Asobo said they will eventually, but no actual use is a thing and not implementing the animated wipers to let it wipe around is another

And yes, search for wipers in the page, it have wipers in the inner windscreen when nose down, just not on the visor.

How can I say that? Because what I meant was they don’t wipe the rain as you figured out.

So there is a problem with takeoff. On the concorde, it is repeated quite often. There is also a problem with the operation of ILS. The autopilot may not acquire a localizer/glide beacon.

Here are three problems:

  1. With set freq using only COM panel ( 122.000, but real freq is 122.005)

  2. With takeoff. Aircraft must be loaded in cold and dark mode and fill a flight plan in FMC.
Concorde does not raise the nose landing gear at speeds over 220 knots (repeated too often. I don`t remember this bug on FBW A320 or C 172 (for example)). If you flying in VATSIM you must disconnect from the network and I have to start all over again! :(((((

  3. Problem with ILS capture, when you set correctly freq - ILS not captured!!! (repeated too often, use UKBB scenery or EGLL). Aircraft must be loaded in cold and dark mode and fill a flight plan in FMC

I hope the developers read this thread and help in solving these bugs.

We read all the posts and we fix all that we can. COM channel will be checked, Concorde not taking off as I have already replied is not a Concorde issue and can on occasion happen to all airplanes, and ILS capture works on Concorde just fine but as reported elsewhere there have been many airport ILS failures since SU9. Please do not repeat posts that have already been answered for you, as this is not a support forum and we’re only really allowed limited support questions here.

Folks, just a polite notice that the Microsoft forums are not a support service, and the mods only allow us to answer all these questions to a limit. The thread here is getting clogged with too many users repeating questions that have already been answered or ignoring the replies of myself and CodenameJack.

We do our best to provide as much support as we can to all users, but please use the search function to locate potential answers to your questions before typing them. This thread contains answers to pretty much every question already ( often many times over ).

Finally, Concorde was working perfectly before SU9 - much of what we’re seeing is the result of the update breaking many airplanes in ways that nobody understands yet. There may well be new issues but we can’t fix what we don’t yet understand ourselves, and we also cannot fix that which we cannot replicate.

So where is the official support forum for DCD?
