Thanks, very true. All the Information I have said that the V2 flew very well and stable at a range of speeds. The V3 (production variant) which I’m building never flew in Germany, but there are reports of it flying in the US when I was brought back to Freeman Field for evaluation, see video below.
I have a book written by Dr Horten himself with descriptions of the flying wing gliders and motorized aircraft built by him and his brother
I can not read english (nor I have attempted google translation) but if you could be interested just send me a PM with your email address and I will gladly send you any info on the H IX that I will find
I have all your planes and I start to feel like a collector. Maybe you can make a limited edition badge for some of us with all your creations.
I also enjoy not knowing what to expect, from Carenado probable another kind of Cessna, from you it can be anything.
They are really unique, interesting and refreshing.
Fascinating plane but the only time the Americans managed to make one of these ‘fly’ was when the Eighth Airforce bombed the factory.
The brief video clip is a test flight of the V2 version in Germany before it’s fatal crash.
I am really looking forward to this one, flying wings are a thing of mine, some Northrops next?
I’m still running my FSX conversion of the N9M, I can’t let go…
Thanks for developing this Horten, I will buy her as soon as she is out.
