Nothing lights up blue. You just click the back of the throttle lever “head” and the thing moves into MCT by itself.
You should just be able to click it and it shoves the throttle to MCT. It’s best accessible from one of the fixed views built into the cockpit (Instrument).
Oh, I’m so used to that! Thank you.
I see now. That’s a developer helper since there is no way to do it by feel.
I got a little scare I was going to overstress the airplane but I trusted in the doc that it was a destination.
Thanks for the clarification.
Personally I see this forum as a place for users to give each other the support and feedback that we wouldn’t necessarily get from the devs support forum. There is a lot of wisdom to be found here with some high hours flyers who post - IMO the really interesting part of the sim which shows how good it is in some areas is that you need such a high number of hours using it to even scratch the surface of how it works, On the other hand you might have encountered a particular issue just after a few hours use that none of rest of us have ever seen on our platform.
And every now and again if a dev is monitoring our conversations they might chip in ( and should be welcome to, a personal thought or two) but they normally always will point us in the direction of getting official support it you need it.
I think the moderators here do an excellent job of keeping us on track and keeping theses forums running the way we should. MSFS is a much better place for having these forums and I’m sure that the people who moderate them all put in a lot of personal time thst they could be spending flying.
So I thank all of you for your exceptionally hard work and dedication and I’ve probably posted this in the wrong thread too ![]()
I can’t belive the detail in this airplane. Stellar. Here’s a little video I put together. #cirruslife

Nice one! Some cool clips, transitions and tight editing. I know how long that stuff takes to make “just” a short video, so good job!
Not all of us like discord, so rather give feedback here.
Please fix frame rate (jerky) issues with Xbox Series X for this vision jet. Great airplane otherwise. Seems like this is a similar prob to what the Hjet also had initally for series x.
I turned the map detail down on my MFD and it solved all of my frame issues. Might not be a permanent fix but allows me to enjoy the plane for now. The main thing I did was make small towns and cities not show up until really zoomed in.
Thankfully I don’t suffer from that (on PC) but I find it strange that a Matrix level recreation of the world is okay but detail on the MFD map can cause issues.
Haha yeah amazing how software works (or doesn’t) isn’t it?
I’m really glad I took the time to setup custom bindings for things. I’m still working out how to properly bind the engine start/stop button so it works as expected with the bound knob, but flying in VR, it is amazing. Honestly one of my favorite features is the checklists (which I’ve bound to a knob) of all things. So much better than some toolbar-based modal or something else.
My dream is to be able to somehow get the screen to connect to my streaming services or show my desktop or something. I’d love to sit in cruise and do work or watch something. I guess I could drag an Oculus pinned overlay on top of it.
You realize you won’t get a response here, right? And you may garner the ire of the moderation as this is not a support site and it’s against the rules to use it as such.
Exactly. It’s like the difference between an limo and a Lambo. Not so much in terms of speed, of course, but in terms that the Lambo is something you’ll enjoy driving a lot more even though the limo may be more comfortable.
Because every frame has to get redrawn with that much detail, especially if you chose Glass Cockpit Refresh rate Medium or Higher in Options-Graphics. That and Volumetric Clouds are fps killers and one of the first settings to get leaned out on lower end rig troubleshooting.
I probably just haven’t appreciated the detail compared to the world at large in the sim.
I’m extremely fortunate I can push refresh rate hign and clouds to ultra.
I had been thinking a real G1000 or G3000 doesn’t need anywhere near the same power to do it’s job compared to the other stuff in the sim. But the screens do look horrendous with DLAA. All those sharp details that change quickly.
Are there any patch notes for the update that appeared in the content manager today?
Fixed fuel mixture issue that was affecting the engine where some users reported trouble starting or the engine randomly disengaging.
Fixed being able to move the speed brake that was causing some speed performance issues.
Fixed VFR Custom View CTD
Fixed “Park Brake” spelling mistake in the synoptic page
Added volumetric lights to landing lights and strobe lights
Fixed Yaw Damper incorrectly turning on with AP. Now engages/disengages when the aircraft crossed 200 ft AGL.
Restored default model back into the package to allow for paintkit. The model however, remains hidden in the aircraft selection screen.
Fixed performance drop on W&B and Systems Tests init pages.
Changed autopilot to only become available after 400 feet.
Adjusted the font color of unselected items in the checklist to be white.

There’s a speed brake?!
