The speed camera will sure catch this plane going up the charts very rapidly I think. FFX have knocked it out of the park with this one and it’s going to become a firm favourite for a lot of us, I think
If you want to make a little money, make a lot of money and buy a jet…
Just tested out the VNAV and it is working great. Really enjoying the G3000 workflow, entering waypoint altitudes manually, and watching the autopilot hit the path perfectly. Amazing jet!
Hehe yeah nice phrase. Or a super yacht. I guess when you have that much dosh, you’re just looking for something to spend it on!
Several years ago, I helped a client buy a used Gulfstream IV. The number of expenses related to a private jet that you would never think of are just enormous…
I agree that it could be related to trim bindings. I had something very similar happen with my V1F trim wheel. It may have been after I disengaged AP as well. For some reason the trim wheel became totally uncalibrated with a sudden -100 degrees setting.
Super cars doesnt cost ~$1,600 an hour to ride though
not counting the annual cost around 400-500k
It really depends on how you drive them.
Mile for mile? I imagine costs are quite similar. Hour per hour? Car every time.
What resource do you use to find real-world Vision Jet flights?
Only 3 flying in the world right now over Poland, Hungary and Belgium.
The one in Poland seems to be having too much fun with the loops lmao.
Anyone know where the manual is located? Can’t find it anywhere.
With Flight Radar 24 you need to set up the filter for aircraft and type in “SF50”
I can see one in the US just now
I’ve been enjoying this plane so much. Last night flew over the Andes between Chile and Argentina. And I had so much fun I’ve made a decision for a little flight project. I’m going to work my way home back to the UK from the last place I landed in Argentina with the SF50. I think it’s going to take me a while as I intend to go the Iceland route.
Yep there were over a dozen flights when I found the Tampico one yesterday.
Thanks; the giant headphones sitting on the dash are a poorly conceived feature and, if present at all, should be removable with a click on the model. I hope the vendor takes this feedback from customers and fixes it for the future.
I quite like them, thanks - and the ANC feature. I’m very happy with the set-up the way it is.
I don’t mind the headphones as they are a small inconvenience for such a great plane, but I too would prefer a click spot hidden somewhere, or even another button on the top level menu so I don’t have to dig down through the VAMS menu each flight. Still great fun, still fly it every time I fire up the simulator.
