[Released] SF50 Vision Jet G2

I am not sure they worked contrails in. That said, it typically wants to cruise around FL250 so I just imagine it is a bit too low to produce them.

I got quite a few hours in now.

It has some minor issues with the mouse following surfaces correctly. I reported it on Discord. Hopefully theyā€™ll be able to improve that some. I tend to be a little more sensitive to that than most people.

That wide field of view in VR is simply stunning. Iā€™m not sure how anyone could fully enjoy this jet without VR

Even from the back seats the view is stunning with very little wing obstruction.

Amen to that. I am SO glad I went VR instead of the multi-monitor hardware cockpit route.

I recently had a flight with live traffic both above me and below me producing contrails, while I had none.

Known issue that will be addressed in a future update.

This little funny thing is a GPU (performance) eater

Personal Comments and Observations

Iā€™ve actually got lower in-cockpit fps performance in the current AAU 1 Longitude and TBM versus the legacy G3000 Vision Jet. I can stay in the mid to high-30s on my low-end PC rig. My GPU is nicely loaded and my CPU is sort of freed up, so thatā€™s exactly where I want to be given the rig specs.

I understand that there is no wirking way other than assigning a keybind, but does anyone know how it is done in the IRL airplane?

Will it be available on orbx store ?

Well ā€¦ the Hjet from FlightFX came onto Orbx after a bit so I guess there could be a chance of it happening with the Vision Jet too.

That said, I donā€™t know for sure :slightly_smiling_face:

Think this is in the Latest update. Is it not?

In the real thing the course is selected via the GTC.

I tried googling it using various keywords, but had no succes, so Iā€™d like to ask your help:

How do you change the map on the mfd to have topography like on this pic:

Thanks in advance!

I donā€™t have FS2020 up and running, but itā€™s under Map Settings (upper-left button on lower middle screen as shown), and IIRC itā€™s a menu option between ā€œAbsoluteā€ and ā€œRelativeā€ā€¦should be easy to find. Absolute shows the topo map as shown, relative shows black unless thereā€™s terrain near your current altitude, then it shows green/yellow/red for increasing danger of ground collision.

Thanks, will check it as soon as I can

What @SteveKane is referencing the ability to change the top down view of relative and absolute. In other words, the topographical or the ā€œwhat you can hit view.ā€

I think what you are asking about is the Synthetic View setting. I also dont have my sim open at the moment. However, if you go into PFD settings and then select the button that says ā€œSVā€ on or something you will get it to show like that. The SV stands for Synthetic Vision.

What are you asking about? The GPU?

I was looking for the topographical map,

I did not see it with the installer. I just downloaded it from the website.

I was also getting poor FPS with the TBM with the beta. I stopped using it due to the performance issue and the flight plan bug.

This plane reminds me of the TBM much more than the Asobo corporate jets. Iā€™m really enjoying it! Looking forward to coupled VNAV but you know when the AA1 package goes live something will break with the Vison. Hopefully it will be patched quickly.

Anyone have problems steering this jet on the ground? Are you just using the rudder command for nose-wheel steering?

I use the rudder pedals, seems to respond to steering ok on the ground.
