P3D/FSX has this awesome shortcut option that you can engage when you fly on 10/12 hrs long hauls on a not so great computer where you end up descending into a blurry mess of unloaded textures - you can just briefly reload scenery and all fresh and new.
E.g. descending into LHR with ORBX GB and such after 12hrs, reloading makes an immense difference.
I can also see this fixing the whole limited simobjects issues that make flights from LAX in MSFS (with GSX and AIG active) not end up in places with no scenery like it’s been reported.
It would effectively be the equivalent of save, shut down sim and reload from save. Just all steps in one.
