I did validate that AAO works with my HOTAS setup. Just wanted to clarify a point. To use AAO, I need to remove any of the native MSFS2020 control mappings? (To avoid a potential conflict with AAO?)
Depends. I use AAO with my Warthog HOTAS controllers but the axis assignments remain in the MSFS controller assignments. I use AAO for most all other switch/button/keyboard assignments and have no problem at all with this hybrid mixture. Just don’t try to assign the same thing in two places.

I recently started exploring the possibility of using AAO - I didnt get very far but I CAN confirm that you can run a AAO profile “on top of” a MSFS profile for a given controller - just dont use the same button, obviously.
