Would anyone else like to see the need to stop in the blue box after landing removed ?
I work for one of the uks biggest airlines and we never ever land and stop to request taxi clearance
Even if you contact ground before the blue box and get permission and taxi over it with out stopping you get penalised. This really annoys me personally and I’d like the option to keep moving while contacting ground
I get some airports you might need to stop as the airports are that big but that’s a small %
I would love this but at least make it possible to have boxes at every runway exit and not just one that randomly moves while you are turning towards the current one. I’m sick of following the yellow taxi lines of the exit towards a blue box only for it to disappear right as I’m about to enter it and suddenly move to the next runway exit and immediately ding me for entering the taxiway without permission.
As I understand it, it required to exit the runway by completely moving the aircraft past the hold short line to clear the runway.
That’s annoying too that’s why I always roll to end now seems to help that issue
