Repair and reset seems to solve the 97% issue

I got stuck at 97% and restarted 2 times with the same result. Then I did a repair and reset and then it worked!

Right click on windows icon, go to Installed apps and search for flight simulator 2024. Klick the three dots and Advanced options. Then Repair and then Reset

Good news at least. I wonder what the equivalent on an Xbox would be. Have tried a hard restart to no effect sadly.

I have steam so I can’t do that. Trying a verify game integrity on steam, will report back if it helps

That will just delete everything…
Never do that with MSFS 2020 and I assume 2024

I am trying this now and will report back if it gets fixed.

Tried it - now I’m stuck at 0%

So, no help for whoever is on steam huh?

same, stuck at 0% Loading Language, after verifying game integrity. Servers may just be completely hanging now though…

I’m on Xbox series X can’t get passed the “ customise identity “ screen so frustrating

The most hilarious part is that I managed to get in and play for like 30min. Then I closed the sim. Came back, opened the Sim and then it took 45min to get to 97% and now I’m stuck. What a joke

same actaully. I had the DA62 and a few others, but I wanted to reload to get some airliners. Should’ve stopped while I was ahead :joy:

Lol. Great! I had 172, Max and couple of others. No DA62. Did it so that I would hopefully get more planes too

Yes, I think we all killed the system. It just wasn’t ready for this. Also stuck a 0% after the 97%.

Repair/reset didn’t work here. On the next load attempts (plural) I’ve gotten stuck at 0% for a couple minutes before the big gray Server Error QR code screen.

Same. I got a message that my fs2020 content had been synchronized and I had to restart. It was a trap!

He’s actually do it right from the Xbox app itself but it does not work any longer. You will in fact log in and then you’re going to be thrown in a queue and then when you get out of the queue you’ll be stuck at 0% loading language and initial update it just won’t go because the servers are hammered and clearly whatever service you’re using can’t keep up with it

It doesn’t hurt to try the xbox app support repair tool before trying to install. Sometimes they update gaming services and it causes hang loads, checking for updates freezes, and mp problems with MSFS2020(I’ve seen many a re-installation for something that would fix in 10 seconds). Run that first to make sure all the MS connected services are updated. It’s slow to automatically update.

Me too. Been running round in circles for 3.75 hours now. Initially getting to 97% and then getting a crash report. Now stuck in a queue to get to the servers and even this keeps failing continuously with an error code which I haven’t bothered to make a not of,

Frustrating, I’m due to go away tomorrow and was hoping to at least have a look at the software I paid for last week before I go.

Well, the fact I can access the sim if I connect to a US VPN tell me everything I need to know. Not all data centres are able to handle what’s being asked of them. Whatever Azure data centre is closest or inside the UK needs some TLC

Or server side caches simply have not yet refreshed. Or servers did not yet restart. There are technically multiple possible causes actually.
