I got stuck at 97% and restarted 2 times with the same result. Then I did a repair and reset and then it worked!
Right click on windows icon, go to Installed apps and search for flight simulator 2024. Klick the three dots and Advanced options. Then Repair and then Reset
The most hilarious part is that I managed to get in and play for like 30min. Then I closed the sim. Came back, opened the Sim and then it took 45min to get to 97% and now I’m stuck. What a joke
Repair/reset didn’t work here. On the next load attempts (plural) I’ve gotten stuck at 0% for a couple minutes before the big gray Server Error QR code screen.
He’s actually do it right from the Xbox app itself but it does not work any longer. You will in fact log in and then you’re going to be thrown in a queue and then when you get out of the queue you’ll be stuck at 0% loading language and initial update it just won’t go because the servers are hammered and clearly whatever service you’re using can’t keep up with it
It doesn’t hurt to try the xbox app support repair tool before trying to install. Sometimes they update gaming services and it causes hang loads, checking for updates freezes, and mp problems with MSFS2020(I’ve seen many a re-installation for something that would fix in 10 seconds). Run that first to make sure all the MS connected services are updated. It’s slow to automatically update.
Me too. Been running round in circles for 3.75 hours now. Initially getting to 97% and then getting a crash report. Now stuck in a queue to get to the servers and even this keeps failing continuously with an error code which I haven’t bothered to make a not of,
Frustrating, I’m due to go away tomorrow and was hoping to at least have a look at the software I paid for last week before I go.
Well, the fact I can access the sim if I connect to a US VPN tell me everything I need to know. Not all data centres are able to handle what’s being asked of them. Whatever Azure data centre is closest or inside the UK needs some TLC
