At the Developer Twitch Q&A yesterday, Martial responded about the encryption and his response seemed not to be entirely accurate. The Standard version planes were unencrypted back in December. However, the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe planes are still fully encrypted in MSFS 2024. The Deluxe and Premium Deluxe planes were not fully encrypted in MSFS 2020, they were partially unencrypted. This means that teams like Horizon Simulations, can’t mod the Working Title 787 in MSFS 2024, like they were able to mod it in MSFS 2020 (and a lot of us loved the Horizon Simulations 787 and Kuro 787 from MSFS 2020).
Here is Martial’s response in the Twitch Q&A yesterday, and he seems to have missed out on the fact that Deluxe and Premium Deluxe planes in MSFS 2024 are still fully encrypted:
I hope a Community Manager can pick up this information and pass it to Jorg/Seb/Martial, and let them know that Deluxe and Premium Deluxe planes in MSFS 2024 are still not partially unencrypted, which they are in MSFS 2020.
