It really is a massive oversight lol … the strange thing is that the Bing maps version looks like it was made in MSFS 2020 and then exported to Bing maps lol !!

Anyone tried new add-on on Xbox? Is it working properly?
I also wonder LTFM doesn’t exist on the map now. Will add on come with procedures and frequencies?

Hi, I tried to contact Asobo asking friendly if they are any qorld update scheduled in the near future, but have not received any response so far… Anyhow, I’m still waiting for the LTFM Airport in MSFS, but I don’t want to use any third party add-on. I had made some bad experiences with those, therefore I’m waiting for on official update, desparately. Do anyone know, if there’s is an update soon?

I’ve been testing MSFS since beta and overall I think the development is very good. Unfortunately, I still have the question whether international important airports like LTFM in Istanbul will ever be imported into the game as the default airport? I reported LTFM missing back in beta.
I already know that there is a free third party that provides this airport. But I want it to be my default airport, after all it’s not just any airport.
As far as I know Turkish Airlines is the airline that flies to the most destinations. The importance for the live traffic and simulation experience is enormous. I hope that something will be planned here in the near future.
I wish the whole team continued success and happiness in the development of MSFS.

Apart from being a Turkish simmer, I humbly want to ask as “a regular simmer” that, upon more than 2 years of its release why fs2020 still doesn’t include the LTFM as native scenery, which is one of the biggest airports in Europe right now and also the central hub of Turkish Airlines, which has direct flights over 250 destinations all around the world, let alone all other airlines that use here for departure & arrivals. It’s quite like releasing an add-on for Köln, or Amsterdam and leaving EDDK o EHAM out. Absurd!
There’s an add-on there indeed, which was created by one of the most devoted guys for both FS & XP sceneries, and it’s good, but it’s a massive FPS hog; I don’t know why (they claim that it’s a non-airport area and game doesn’t focus on it correctly) but its nearly as worse as JFK or any other overcrowded airports. No PC can handle it properly as it is now.
I think it’s high time for Asobo to consider this and take a step.
Mark my words, Asobo! LTFM is an airport that can NOT be overlooked!

WU 32? Weekly Update or ?
I have written to Jorg about a WU for Türkiye amd several other issues! I wrote to Asobo and Zendesk, not much else I can do but Türkiye as a whole is several years out of date!

Yes, Finally they talked and agreed that Istanbul is a big hub. They will work on it. I hope the next world uptade will be turkey

is that correct? no park spots, gates, and the airport itself is not there apart from the runways

We not only need a WU or a CU. We also need an AU (Airport Update).
Some areas of the world for reasons only known to MS or Asobo are below standard. Major airports sometimes are non-existent. Visited Nouakchott International, sand… Visited Thessaloniki, runway 10… LTFM, well… It’s not like these airports were build yesterday. It’s nice that AI creates airports but can’t they find an intern which checks the major airports and does some basic handcrafting?

Normally LTFM is not present in the sim, what you see is the minimal LTFM (= runways only) added by the Navigraph addon you are using.

ok thank you, i wasn’t aware that navigraph could do such things (did find also pokhara few days ago with another airport I couldn’t find on xbox)
