In MSFS2024 career mode, you need to ‘respect the condition of the aircraft’ in the cargo missons. But what does this even mean? What’s the criteria? I’m doing a steady take off and landing, use autopilot enroute to the destination and still get 0%.
same here I flying 737 when mission done get 0% too as mentioning.
I have an update on testing stuff… I made sure to keep my RPMs down under 2400 as much as I could in the C172, where before I’d blast it to get there ASAP but now I got 97%… the overflying airport is just a bug really and yes I accidentally went 2 knot over on descend with flaps but eh, still an S class flight
737 is giving me 0% every time I’ve tried so far, not sure what is killing that score, I did I super smooth landing on my last one and still 0%
It might be down to how much you pushed the plane. Before I found out if I don’t push the plane to its limits, it helps. Learning more by simply asking ChatGPT for advice, where in the C172 I’m managing the EGT and mixture % at higher altitudes. So don’t full send it, but manage the systems as needed
Same here… only used 95% Power for Takeoff (very uncommon) and in cruise leaned -40° F lean of peak with a quck jump over lean maximum to avoid cylinder stress. This should keep the cylinders as cool as possible - but still 0% … don’t know, what went wrong…
The trouble with MSFS is they don’t care that nothing is explained, we are just expected to guess what many things means. It probably means something totally different to what we are guessing.
Weather for instance. What does it mean in career mode. Are we supposed to choose the weather we fly in or is that just to show hotspots during certain seasons?
Come on MSFS you can do much better than this
Not really realistic, as in all my years in aviation take off to a safe altitude was always full throttle with a hand on the throttle to keep it there. RPMs never came into it until a safe altitutde was reached and climb in cruise was established
I do not consider this issue “solved”
EDIT: I have also discovered that excessive use of brakes on landing has a strong effect on ROC. Heavy braking results in very low percentage of ROC, while 3 flights where I used no brakes at all gave me 100%
Food for thought
i have the same problem with the 747 in EVERY flight, nothing is solved
I think there is no bug. I had this “bug” before, but If you setup all FMC parameters before, it gets correct. Specially ZFW, Coast, VNAV, Flaps takeoff e at the end V1,VR and V2 must be set.
i only have this problem with the 737, with all other planes i dont have any issues and it works fine
Me too, before setting FMC. Now even 737 is ok. Take care with ZFW and the other values below it; VNAV and then set takeoff flaps and set V1,V2 e VR, VNAV FL. I think only this can fix this issue. ZFW I set always 100 and the two fields below, 12 and then 3. I don’t know exactly why this works, but works. Balance you can find in TAB flight planner, aircraft settings.
Tried this exactly as described but still 0%
For what it’s worth, I set up all the FMC with the Vrefs and perf data every flight. But I was still getting ‘respect condition of aircraft’ markdowns on the 737 Max. One key thing I changed recently that seems to have helped is to slow the aircraft down gently on descents. So think not exceedind speed for flap settings. I also suspect speedbrake use (so avoid using it completely), especially agressive speedbrake use to slow aircraft down seems to cause a hit.
The trouble is ATC in career mode nearly always descends you late.
so the other things I’m doing are -
- Fast speed descents only to FL200
- Use range from FL200->10k ft to descend while slowing down. So manally change autothrottle to target say 230kts(which makes you hit <250kts under 10kft), and use V/S to shallow your descent rate to slow your aircraft down.
- Once at 235kts set slats/flaps 1. You can then descend at 230kts at -2000ft/min
- If you are too late in descent to miss appraoch, switch to HDG mode and do a decending looped turn to descend without adding speed.
Sadly because of these issues VNAV mode (which would help) is not usable on descents on the 737.
I read somewhere else that people resolved this issue by going through all of the proper pre-flight loading steps, such as loading passengers, catering, etc. Supposedly if you skip that step you get dinged? I haven’t been doing the 737 missions so I can not confirm the veracity, but just passing it along for you as another thing to try?
It is literally THIS… Much appreciate for this… Basically I always skipping those steps (loading passengers, catering, etc.) to save time… Last flight I didn´t skip it and got 97%
Thank you
No problem. Wish I remember the original user that mentioned it so they could get proper credit.
I believe they also said you don’t have to wait for the entire boarding process too. There was something, somewhere, maybe in the EFB, that they clicked, even if loading was at 1%, and it still counted as going through the process.
Yeah that would be nice to know as there are new bugs while going this way… IFR Clearance Bug, it stays “unchecked” the whole flight, unable to get runaway clearance and passenger happines and aircraft procedures goes down for me (50-70%)… So at the and it´s a choise between bad A and bad B
Is that SU2? I decided to opt out of the beta this go around.
