If there is one thing that I just find a great source of shame and frustration and that is how the whole inflight/tablet payload and fuel loading page/interface is a complete and absolute mess and the good old easy way to load the plane in msfs 2020 was such a breeze as this current efb weights and payload takes the ease and enjoyment out of 2024..
There is no visual reference in regards to center of gravity and this game is supposedly all about bringing new simmers into the game and the current way the loading of aircraft is laid out in the user interface…
How would any future simmers get their head around this current interface is a great concern vs the visual aspect of msfs 2020 with the little plane diagram for reference for center of gravity.
Also, being able set total payload including cargo to the actual payload you want by typing or dragging the slider along with the fuel in 2020 vs this highly inaccurate percentage slider of 2024.
It’s absolutely poor poor poor… please fix the payload management Asobo and bring back the 2020 way of loading the aircraft.
I honestly feel like the whole current user interface especially with the fuel and payload management is what we should have gotten with 2020 and what we had in 2020 is the upgrade we should have had in 2024.
It’s so frustrating, cumbersome and time consuming to try and get your simbrief weights to match up with the highly inefficient weight and payload page in the current efb and having to jump through, upto three different pages and muck around with the just as inefficient nodules to get accurate weights where in 2020 you could just drag two sliders max, all on the game page, one for fuel and one for the payload or just simply type in the figures you want vs this percentage thing we have…
Please asobosoft…… please return the simple weights and payload and easy to understand for new simmers the visualization of the C/G in relation to the plane diagram… Cause… I don’t know about you, but I want to set the next generation of simmers up to succeed and to enjoy and most importantly… fund this future hobby and keep this amazing game/series alive… than set them up for disappointment frustration and failure…
