Reverb G2 Question in VR

Similar issue, but For some reason I also cant post a new topic on this: Issue: When WMR is the active application, the head tracking is smooth as butter. Should be, I have a 4090, and 13900 i9, with G2 VR headset. However, when MSFS is the active app, I’m getting tearing and weird artifacts. With WMR active I have no sound, and cannot use the mouse to do things. This is very frustrating. I have tried everything from watching just about every video out there, to reducing settings to low, and nothing fixes this. Does anyone have any ideas?

But the Reverb G2 is powered by its own power cable/adaptor.

There is a known issue with older versions of OpenXR that caused this. Check to make sure you have updated OpenXR from the Microsoft Store. Verify version and post your results.

Have you tried this helpful video? He has a series.

There’s a bug switching from FSR to DLSS and back. I find it helpful to restart WMR whenever I have to restart the VR session.
I have had a wide variety of experiences with this headset. Right now DX12 with DLSS Quality with OpenXRTK set to NIS 80% and NIS Sharpening 20% is working nicely on my 3080Ti.
The nice thing about plugging the G2 into a powered USB hub (with the adapter) is that I can toggle power to the headset with a button. The new V2 versions of the headset have a button on their power cable.

I am up to date on openxr. But thanks for the suggestion.
