I have a strange issue which has been driving me crazy for years
I use the Honeycomb Bravo throttles set up through Axis and Ohs. The reverse levers mimic a button press which I have set to mimic the F2 key.
So after landing, I pull up the reverse levers and it sends the F2 key and hey presto, the engines go into reverse…….
Only, it doesn’t always work. Randomly, when I pull the lever, nothing happens. This occurs in all sorts of aircraft so it isn’t aircraft specific.
It’s starting to drive me nuts. Anyone know what could be causing this?
I have intermittent Reverse Thrust as well. For instance, flying the FlightFX P180 I can hit the F2 key on the keyboard after landing and the throttles will still go forward, not in reverse.. Then 5 seconds later, I’ll hit it and my throttle will go into reverse as it should. I have had this happen in another plane as well. Checking the Controls menu, F2 is assigned to Reverse Thrust Toggle. I haven’t tried assigning a button to it yet because if it doesn’t work with the default keyboard command, I figure it won’t work with a controller button.
