Here’s my review of Marrakech Menara International Airport (GMMX) by PerfectSoft.
As usual, there’s plenty of video content on top of the written commentary for those who prefer to make their own opinion on the airport.
It’s not a bad add-on, but it isn’t perfect. The modeling and texturing is mostly nice enough, and the level of detail for the terminals (both landside and airside) is quite good, reproducing nicely the airport’s unique architecture.
The jetways are custom, but they don’t animate. The ILS works flawlessly, but both RNAV approaches are too low. There are a few oddities here and there that stop this airport from being great, but it’s still a very big improvement over default, so if Africa is important for you, this is one of the precious few airports available that I’d still consider worth buying, hoping that the developers keep updating it, because the core is pretty solid.
