I have been playinh a lot career mode. I like being rewarded for what I do. I love to have a scope, a strategy etc.
Since SU 2 I have left career behind. Too stressfull the planes management. My company own 120 and more planes.
I play Call of Duty since ever and the “reward system”, the battlepass and the ingame activities (unlock skins, weapons and whatever) push me to differentiate things I do.
Instead of grinding the career it would be great to have a full set of rewards for everything you do.
- Open the sim with DAYLY MISSIONS to earn point if you accomplish them
- Gaining rewards per flight
- Unlocking things with EVENTS…for example: Fly over Europe event or other challenges…
This will get us keep staying online and also having a system to be rewarded.
I enjoy this game more because there’s none of that silly stuff in it no play walls nothing it’s an open ended sandbox in the sense of flying and it’s great we aren’t 12 and don’t need a constant dopamine hit

If you are that invested that’s probably for the best really as all progress made in SU2 will be wiped when the beta ends, and go back to what you had before you joined the beta.
I agree. Career is good for folks who want that sort of thing and I am happy that people enjoy it, but PLEASE do not add any points/rewards/whatever to free flight! Let career be career and free flight be free flight. We don’t need to “gamify” everything.
I play free flight and stay away from career and even challenges because free flight is so open-ended. If one day I feel like flying an airliner and have the engine go out at FL360 (like I did today), I can do that. If another day, I want to do a bush trip on a tail dragger through the Idaho backcountry, I can do that. I also enjoy making up the stories and reasons that go along with that open-ended environment.
I don’t want ANYTHING that even hints of trying to encourage someone to go in a particular direction based on rewards and points for activity. For me, doing so would ruin the simulator, even if the points/rewards/whatever were not required, because it would introduce just a bit of pressure to play in a particular way. Leave free flight alone or I will definitely start looking other places for my flight sim fix!

I completely agree plus career mode in itself is a open ended sandbox
If any rewards style thing make it challenges area that has it not free flight and not career they are sandboxes and need to be left as such
