Good afternoon guys, firstly I’d like to introduce myself since today is my first post even though I’ve been reading plenty of posts about basically everything.
I just started using MSFS20 since I’m also studying for my Private Pilot License. I try to get the right settings for my laptop and the monitor and I was hoping you guys can give me a hand.
My laptop specs are:
Asus TUF:
- 15.6in FHD (1920 x 1080) 144Hz Anti-Glare Display.
- AMD Ryzen™ 7 4800H Processor 2.9 GHz (8M Cache, up to 4.2 GHz)
- NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU 4GB GDDR6.
- 32GB DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM.
- 512GB M.2 NVMe™ PCIe® 3.0 SSD.
And my monitor: Samsung C49RG9 49" 32:9 120 Hz Curved FreeSync HDR VA Gaming Monitor
- 49" Vertical Alignment (VA) Panel
- 1 x HDMI 2.0 | 2 x DisplayPort 1.4
- 5120 x 1440 Resolution
- 3000:1 Contrast Ratio
- 1000 cd/m² Maximum Brightness
- 178°/178° Viewing Angles
- 4 ms Response Time (GtG)
- Supports 1.07 Billion Colors
- DisplayHDR 1000 & 120 Hz Refresh Rate
- AMD FreeSync II & 1800R Curvature
When I start to play the game the image is not 100% nitid as I was expected from this monitor.
I watched so many youtube videos about the right settings for a laptop similar than mine, but nothing related to the settings for this monitor. I’m hoping someone could spare a few minutes helping me out, if it’s not too much inconvenience.
Thank you in advance.
