RNP Z RWY 05 (AR) approach at Queenstown (NZQN)

Hi everyone,

I noticed that the RNP Z RWY 05 (AR) approach at Queenstown (NZQN) is not available in the MSFS flight planner.

This is most likely because it’s an RNP AR procedure. The default planner only supports common procedures like RNP F, G, H, not highly specialized AR approaches.

So this is expected behavior, not a bug.

If you look at Innsbruck LOWI, RNP Z approaches for 08 and 26 are both AR and yet they are available in the flight planner while RNP Z 05 for NZQN is not. So this is perhaps an oversight although could even have basis in that the NZQN Z approach is Category B aircraft only while the LOWI approaches are for any category (except D)

This has been asked in the WT discord, as I understand it it’s an operator specific approach.
@Zadma tagging you for visibility

It’s available in Navigraph app

Holland and Matt who both are working title team member believes Navigraph manually adds them, as they arent present in the AIP data.

-Disregard-

If you’ll notice in the chart in your screenshot it states plainly that the chart is not for navigational use. You would not be allowed to fly this procedure.

Per the AIP:

So, if you actually were an operator with aforementioned contractual arrangement, you would not have the procedure as charted (which is an example only), you would have your own tailored version. As such these procedures should not appear in the navdata, they are not in our source data, and you should not be able to select them in your avionics.
