Road under water

Hi, just landed on KSFO rw 28L. Doing ILS approach, I see the 92th road dissapear under water, while some cars, amazingly enough, can run over water…Nice? Not at all.

MS Store version 1.23.12.0 (SU 8 installed)

Been happening forever, if you flight along the lakeshore in Cleveland Ohio, there are 4 lanes of traffic, that dip into the water and the cars drive through.

Ive seen cars driving on water in San Diego because the cause way they were on were submerged, the longer and lower you fly the more ‘eye candy’ you see! lol

Well, I think this is a bug, and not sure if this is in the bug list published in the roadmap. Am I a dreamer, or developers should consider to intervene on this?

I wonder if it’s a message on climate change…

there are hundreds of places where this can happen, not sure they can do much, bingdata.

Didnt do it in FSX, P3D, Xplane, or FS9. They could fix it if they wanted to Im sure, they just let blackshark AI or whoever does the bing maps deal with it.

Wonderful, this is even better: flying cars…
And what is this behavior due to? I started the topic in the Bugs & issues section, convinced that it is just that, a programming error. Am I wrong?

Most likely more of a earth-data error and not a programming error. The world is big. Very big. And it’s impossible to have it correct everywhere.

There was one place I was flying along a freeway in CA. the road ran straight then turned left around a group of bldgs, then tracked back to its original heading. Except the cars hit the start of the turn, and just climbed over the bldgs and down to the road on the other side…

And dont forget to mention the rivers that flow on the side of a hill or mountain, instead of flowing thru the valley below it… ;p
