I’m working on a jetliner and hope I can make it fly as realistic as possible.
I think I made a lot of progress where the flight model is tuned accordingly and it is already possible to make a good flight.
However, I’m having problems with the roll and elevator controls.
I have spend a lot of time searching the SDK documentation to find a solution.
With this I have tried to adjust to following:
- Aileron and Elevator effectivnes
- Roll and pitch stability
- Elasticity Tables
- …
Nothing works!
However, I do not think the problem rests with these settings because I’ve noticed the following during testing of the aircraft:
- Right after take-off I can use the roll and pitch controls perfectly until about a hundred feet after takeoff
- When I start flying in mid air, the autopilot is active however without alttitude settings. Therefore I can go up and down and in this case the elevator controls are loose.
We I deactive the autopilot, only then the roll and pitch controls are suddenly very heavy again.
Can anybody help me by suggesting possible issues?
