RTX 2060 Super Crashing

Good evening all,

My game is crashing every time that I load in, on medium settings, which my GPU is supposed to be able to run. When I first got the game, I was able to run it with High/Ultra settings in 4K, but now it seems to only want to run low graphics without crashing.

Does anyone know a fix?

Are your GPU drivers up to date? If not, that would be a good start. If they are, roll back to a previous version.

Thank you for the answer,

My drivers are up to date, and this has happened on the previous drivers as well.

I am running a 2060 Super with a Ryzen 5 3600. I run most settings on high end so not sure what is causing your instability but I’m pretty sure it’s not from running on too-high graphics settings.

You mention you updated the GPU drivers. What version are you on? Seems like all of the drivers have their own host of problems lately but people seem to be having the most luck with 457.51.

Have you tried updating your BIOS? Could also try a clean boot to see if something in the background is interfering.

Try reducing the res to 1440p or 1080p to see if that mitigates the issue. Could be possible the GPU is being overloaded especially @4k which the gpu should be capable of on medium depending how long you have it on that can play a role or possible OC. 4k does use a lot of vram.

Thank you for your response,

I have the latest Nvidia Game Ready Driver, which is version 461.09.
For some reason the rollback option is greyed out and I can’t click it…
I will try to update the BIOS now.

Thank you for your response,

I have already attempted to put the resolution down and it has made no difference, it stills crashes.
