RTX 3090 MSFS 2020 (4K 60 FPS) Beautiful Views from Paris to London!

Hey everyone, this is my first official edited youtube video! Would appreciate any feedback anyone has to see how I can get better!

This is seriously good! Love it! It is in fact so good that something as trivial as extended slats in cruise becomes somewhat jarring.

May I ask if you used replay software and, if so, which one?

Keep up the great work!

Thank you soo much! I appreciate it! I use Flight Control Replay! It’s a payware. At first I was hesitant of spending money on a replay tool where there are lots of free ones out there, but this one is amazing once you know how to use it. It replays your flight in 60 FPS no matter how much FPS you had when recording it. That’s why it looks so smooth. I definitely recommend it!

“Wow!” Is my comment! Great movie and thanks for the replay software info!

Thanks kindly! I did purchase FCR some time ago but I have not updated it for quite a while. Very capable but, as is always the case with video editing, creating a really good video takes quite a bit of effort. You clearly did that!

Thank you! It took about 3 days since I’m new to video editing! Plus if you need help with FCR let me know! Ther x264 encoder it wants you download doesn’t have a setup guide which is important to setup right otherwise it won’t work correctly.

I think you need some professional help. That video is amazing, I don’t think we here can give you any advise how to make it any better! No, seriously, if this was your first one, you are a mighty talented person.

Aah, he is fooling us, he has also done this masterpiece! Realistic New York City Views in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020(SamScene3D New York Times for MSFS) - YouTube

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! The first video was me testing the waters and editing software😂.

Speechless! I swear some of that footage you would think it’s real! How do get some of those camera angles? Drone use? I’ve tryed, but hopeless at it. Credit where credit needed. I would submit to Microsoft and have them use it or part of it as their promo for MSFS, its certainly a dam site better than theirs! Great stuff! I would add two minors on it tho. I don’t see your taxi light on and using a German Airline from France to England. Perhaps Air France or British Airways would be more fitting, that said, I still think its great and you just sold that reply software to me :+1:

There is some stuttering from 2 minutes for around 15 seconds but it looks good. My question is what did it look like before the post process using Flight control replay. I’d be more interested in seeing that footage in its original state and before editing as that is how YOU experienced the flight?

Thank you very much! I really appreciate the feedback and will definitely use a more realistic airline for the next one!! The only downside of Flight Control Replay is the lights don’t work😂, but hopefully the developer updates that soon. I use the drone camera and set drone focus mode to auto and Drone focus to 100. Make sure depth of field is on ultra in your settings.

Yeah I can definitely whip up a video of raw footage before and after flight control replay! I’ll make it later today. For you to see the difference.

Thanks, I look forward to seeing that.

The edited FCR video might be hard to replicate. The beauty of FCR is that, when you record the original flight, you can just fly the plane from the cockpit while recording. You do not have to worry about using the drone or different camera angles. This means you can take off properly, fly where and how you want properly, land properly and taxi properly without worrying about running off the taxiway etc. while storing the flight data.

Once you have recorded the basic flight, (well, FCR does not really “record a video” of the the actual flight per se, it just records the flight sim data), you can use FCR to go to any part of the flight and pop out into any view/camera angle while the aircraft flies along the path/track as per the original flight. And you can do any part of the flight over and over again from different angles and while moving the camera without having to be concerned about controlling the aircraft.

So the best you can do to possibly see what the original flight was like was just to replay the FCR data from the view of the original flight and hope that FCR did/does not introduce any anomalies such as stuttering. I think that really the closest way to show what you are asking (what do you see on the screen when you are flying the plane without FCR recordings) is to do a screen capture video while re-flying the flight as closely as possible under similar conditions. And even then, just recording the screen places an additional burden on the system that might affect the video.

A classic example of the so-called “Observer effect”.

I see, I used to like FSX as I could record the flight afterwards using the replay function which sadly has not YET been added to MSFS.

Absolutely fantastic! The unique camera angles, lighting and editing all look so professional.

Great work!

I’m so jealous of how good your London photogrammetry looks. Mines just triangles and melted blobs on approach to Heathrow despite being on ultra.
