RTX4080 and Pico 4

Just got a Pico 4 today to replace my G2 v1.

Someone care to share full settings please ?

Already bought virtual desktop and do.I need to connect pico 4 via usbc to ethernet cable ?

I have a 4090 (and a 13900kf). These are my settings:

Virtual Desktop - wireless connection - Godlike mode

SteamVR @ 192%

OpenXR Toolkit 4468x4468, NIS upscaling, FOV preset

Game: 100% render scale, DLSS Balanced, Ultra presets except Contact Shadows, Occlusion and Raymarched Reflections (Low)

Before going for the cable, try the wireless way. If it’s good enough in your room, it’s great.

I have a 4080 and 12700K so most probably need lower aettings. I tried but was getting arnd 27/30fps and had stutters when I move my head.

I have no stutters… difficult to say if it’s for the video configuration, or for the wireless (any imperfection of the wireless signal will cause stutters, I think)

Have a 5ghz router just a foot infrint of me

OK so that shouldn’t be the issue, try reducing the graphic settings, in this case. (And activate the Turbo mode in the OpenXR Toolkit)

Hi, I am running pico 4 with i9-12900k with an RTX 4080.

Do you miss the additional GPU power of a 4090 or are you happy with the 4080 experience in VR? Im struggling with the decision whether to buy a 4080 or a 4090 for my pico 4.
