Did you create or start to create a new profile?

Did you unplug and plug back in while sim running?
Close sim, unplug rudder usb.
Start sim- there should be no honeycomb rudder showing.
Close sim and replace usb.
What shows now?

Did you change the usb to a different port?
It may have picked up a different port as a separate device.
Delete the one you can and test the remaining one.

No, I wasn’t trying to create a new profile - the additional Rudder Pedals device just appears (Turtle Beach, not Honeycomb).

I have closed the Sim, unplugged the pedals and restarted the SIm - correct there are no pedals showing. However, when I close the Sim and plug them back in, 2 sets of pedals appear again.

I’m unable to delete the ‘extra’ pedals device - I can only delete an extra profile within a device, not delete the extra device itself - delete is NOT an option in that context.

Unfortunately you’ve joined ‘the club’ , no apparent fix

So far only one solution worked for me, but I didn’t test it ingame, the frustration depleted my excitement.

In Device Manager, in Human Interface Devices, I disabled my 8th “HID-compliant vendor-defined device” and it still shown the rudders’ inputs, but only one of them exists.

I got to this point after clean & safe booting, deleting recent updates, then I started just deleting every driver, not sure what I killed in the process. I did have to reflip my mouse’s wheel to change direction as it was a regedit and I guess deleted it.

I found 3 topics talking about the same proble, and MS doesn’t even allow me to effectively help all, well, as much help as this info was.

Also I might wanna reconsider just buying a product that’s prone to software BS, I can’t even use Microsoft Store as it relies on edge, which I
obliterated and most of its (200?) registries. Yeah I miss Forza sometimes, but the peace is worth way more.

Criticize ideas, not people huh? What about making a good product line so that your support site won’t “need” to be slowed down, because it would rarely get any traffic? Why do I have to wait 5 mins between replies? This implementation relies on the users getting frustrated and not making a voice loud enough so that the development team (including the administration) could potentially hide behind the seeingly low frequency of requests from end-users, who most of them never fought against such kind of control.
