Saab 340 in career mode can't start, get Mission for leaving parking stand

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
On any passenger mission in career mode with the Saab 340 I can just do external inspection, about 20 or so seconds after stepping into the plane going through the checklist the game suddenly just fails the mission with the message “You left the parking stand before completing the ground handling process”. Well I haven’t the plane haven’t moved, it haven’t even started. I have no mission progress items other than “Preflight”, I’ve checked that the parking brake is applied (it is). It happens EVERY single mission I’ve tried with this plane. And they all cost me reputation, for nothing.

Saab 340

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Yep, same problem here. Just bought the Saab for airline missions and shortly after entering cockpit the mission fails. Spent last hour searching web and only thing I’ve found is others with the same issue, no fix. Certain parts of MSFS 2024 really suck, $11 million for plane and $120k to fix it after mission failed. Beyond frustrating. I had tried the Saab in free flight, and it worked fine.

There’s a workaround for this shameful bug: don’t modify anything in the EFB before the cutscene finishes and you’re ready to begin speaking with ATC.

In my tests the plane always crashes if you modify anything in the EFB before the initial cutscene, but if you don’t touch anything the plane spawns normally ready to taxi. Well, not exactly ready, you still have to switch on avionics and do some other preparations. Before speaking with ATC you can do any modification in the flight plan and send it to ATC AND avionics, otherwise the flight plan does not appear in the UNS. Asobo, please, solve this issue, is terrible.

Unfortunately, this is not my experience. I was hopeful and just tested it. I didn’t touch the EFB button at all. It still crashed about 15 seconds after loading into the cockpit. I’ve lost all faith in Asobo at this point. Never again will I touch anything with their name on it.
