ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The inverter switch cannot be moved from the OFF position to either the 1 or 2 position

Saab 340 by Carenado

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Hop in Saab 340.
  2. Try changing the Inverter switch on the overhead. Scroll, click, doesn’t work.

Yeah, same here and also, route on the ND is not displaying at all. Plane is following the route but I can’t see magneta line on ND.

The inverter is inop for me too, but for anyone who hasn’t already seen this, you can bind it with Axis and Ohs or Spad if you use those programs: [MSFS2024] Saab 340B - #191 by RPGamerous

• maybe not a bug, functionality seems not to have been implemented
if you activate the Lock cockpit interaction system, it says inoperative

Now how do you suppose they did that? They made the inverter required but the function inoperable. Huh?

In the electrical system would the inverter be connected to an external power source?

Not sure of the answer to either of your questions, but I do note that after 2.5 months AND a sim update, the problem isn’t fixed - and if it’s been logged as a bug, the tag on the thread isn’t updated. I want to fly the Saab and love it, but jeez they make it tough.

I’m surprised that it isn’t logged as a bug also. And even more surprised that it wasn’t even touched with SU3.

Maybe Carenado is too busy putting out new planes to fix the included ones. If that’s the case, Asobo should fix them or find someone who can, a bunch of us paid a lot of money to fly these planes and we’re many months in now.

There are 4 issues I have with this plane.

  1. The bottom PFD does not show the flight path.
  2. The condition levers are not bindable.
  3. The inverter is stuck in the off position.
  4. The Cargo variant has a solid wall behind the cockpit.

My question is, how can we get Carenado to fix this airplane, other than continually have our concerns ignored on these forums?

I purchased the Deluxe edition solely because the Saab 340, and have been coming to these forums since release. I have been a customer of Carenado’s for a very long time, and even sourced interior photographs of one of the PC-12s that I used to fly that is the basis for their PC-12 textures/interior.

However, I will not purchase another aircraft from them seeing as how this one has been ignored. There was a developer that was working on a Saab 340/2000, but hasn’t posted any updates in over a year.

Inverter still inop, UNS-1 functionality broken, and career mode crashes when loading the airplane, among other gripes. Carenado, can we please fix this airplane. There is a severe lack of quality turboprop commuters. One good one would be nice.

I think it’s the same situation with 2020 where default aircraft can’t be updated without a full sim update. However that’s no guarantee that the Saab will be updated in the next Sim Update.

If only we got better communication. Marking something as Feedback Logged with no change after 6 whole months is not useful.
