TUNISIA: Flying Doctors
Just coming back from a RL Camel Trek in the Sahara. The Bedouin guide told me that there exists an air ambulance service in-country to provide medical assistance and evac to nomads, workers and tourists in the desert.
We fly such a STOL plane over beautiful dunes, landings are on short patches of hard sand near habitations.
To make it more interesting I don’t post the PLN, just an overview plus WP-to-WP bearings & distances.
More spice (“Dune” pun intended…) comes by adding a sandstorm from the .to -weather…
