Saitek Pro Flight Radio panel no longer lights up with SU 5? can anyone help?

I have the Saitek Pro Flight radio panel that worked well until update 5…it no longer comes on when I am flying the Cessna 152…(the only plane that I have been flying). The weird thing is if i Press the right mouse button and hold it down the radio turns on or if I trun the controls over to my co pilot the radio will come on,but once I take control it goes off again.

I have deleted and reloaded the Saitek Driver/plugin…all to no avail. I have spent hours trying to solve…could use some help…thank you.

My Saitek radio no longer works either. Still looking for a fix.

I have exactly the same problem.

Hi All,

My radio panel is working perfectly …i’m Using the Logitech/saitek plugin and both the radio and switch panel still working.

Only thought I always make sure the usb power management settings in device manager for each usb hub or port I have my panel connected to, the check box for “allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”. Is UN checked for every port I have a connection.

Don’t know if this helps

I had to reinstall the driver. Then it works without problems.

Sadly this didn’t work for me, still trying, I’ve even done a complete reinstallation of Windows, and…nothing. I know the radio works as I’ve run the Logitech test software and it lights up fine.

Since update 5 my saitek panels no longer work on any aircraft, this is along with the trim issues and other mapping issues already reported. I have cleared my community folder and tried again and still the same. The radio panels worked fine until SU5. I spend more time now trying to get this sim working as it did before than actually flying on it.

I’m running two Radio Panels and a Multi Panel with SU5.
No problems.

I’ll check mine tonight and report back

Switch panel working for me.

Did you try reinstalling the plugins?

I’d that doesn’t work, uninstall the plugins, then delete the EXE.xml file located same place as the opt.cfg file,

Reboot PC

Install plugins again one by one if you have multiple panels, this will create a new EXE.xml file.

Reboot, should be fine after that.

You may need to reinstall fsuipc after that.

Make sure you assign a keyboard shortcut to the AVIONICS MASTER 1&2 ON, and for airliners you’ll need to press that once batteries/ground power are on. That should then start the radio panel.

I’ve posted the same problem a couple days ago and I’ve seen a couple other threads on this too, as well as on other forums. Can we collate our threads into one and start voting for the bug fix?

I still can’t get my Saitek radio panel to work at all. The sim just doesn’t recognise it. I’ve reinstalled the Logitech drivers, attempted the USB power management reg edit and in desperation did not only a reinstall of MSFS but completed reinstalled Windows and wiped both my Windows C drive, and my Game D drive and spent two days reinstalling my PC.

Still nothing :-/ The frustrating thing is I know the panel is working as when I run the Logitech radio test software it lights up and cycles through all the different frequency displays.

It’s a maddening bug!

straight after SU5 my radio panel wouldn’t come on but the multi panel would.
Removing the usb connector for the radio panel and putting it back in seemed to fix it for me haven’t had a problem since.

Is it possible to merge this thread of mine here too?

As the title says, my Saitek radio no longer works since SU5 launched. There are no LEDs, no buttons work, I can’t find any evidence of whether it is turned on at all.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Logitech drivers. I’ve made sure to enable the plugin manually, although I always get the message ‘a version of this plug-in is already running’.

I’ve done the USB power management hack and I’m using a powered USB hub.

I feel like I’ve exhausted all options now, just wondering if anyone else is suffering this issue and if they have been able to fix it?

My radiopanel works like a charm and so do the others…

Is your radio plugged straight into your PC, or a powered USB hub?

My Logitech saitek panels are in a powered hub.
It’s important that your hub is a powered one…

Yes, mine is a powered USB 3 hub too. Not had any problems the last few months. Very bizarre. If I go into printers and devices its in there and says is working properly, but the sim no longer detects it at all.

While NOT running MSFS, check task manager and see if LogiMicrosoftFlightSimulator.exe is running. If it is, end the task and try MSFS again.
