Saitek X56 no responding, MSFS 2024 [Solved]

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
I have always had issues with X56 throttle connecting to MSFS2024. I thought it was the problem of the USB connection, I have winning rudder and Thrumaster being TCA and yoke also connected but without any issue. I run the test and found out, MSFS 2024 can receive the input, just aircraft doesn’t respond to the input. It’s not only inibuilts a350 which is shown in the video, with default planes, it’s the same issue.

My old Saitek X56 works perfectly with MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.

@moztoma Maybe your device drivers need updating ?

I updated, just as the video shows that, MSFS2024 can recieve the input, which means the thottle worked well. Only the plane doesn’s react. So strange~

Does it work OK in 2020

Have you tried it on a different USB port ?

I don’t have 2020, but x56 works well with xp12 and DCS.
Yep, I tried different USB ports.

No conflicting axis binds in 2024 ?

yes~ no conflict at all

Have you tried binding both axis to the default throttle axis, and not throttle 1 and 2 ?

I tried with different axis. Actually, it’s not only the trottle, all axis and keys binging with my x56 throttle doesn’t work.

Not sure what else to suggest.
Can you take it to a friends place who has MSFS2024, and try on thier PC ?
Maybe a dodgy USB cable, maybe dodgy cable connecting throttle to joystick base.

Good luck, if you find out, post back here what it was, might help someone else.

yea, maybe, I really wish someone has the same problem as mine can see this.I dont think it’s hardware problem, since it does work well with other games and msfs 2024 can recieve the input.

Appreciate it doesn’t really help, but my X.56 works fine with MSFS2024 and previously with 2020.
From what you describe this seems more like an issue in the Sim than directly to do with the Throttle, perhaps its confused in some way as to what device it should be using.

I have had a similar problem a few times with my X56 throttle and Stick in FS2024. I don’t know what caused it or specifically what fixed it but I shut down the sim unplugged my controls. Then plugged my controllers back in started the sim back up and they would then work. Very mysterious.

Thanks, i will try to do the same later~ let’s hope it can be fixed

wow, amazing!! It does work! Thank you very much!

I’m glad that worked for you. I have had another strange occurance with my controls and FS2024. twice while flying on autopilot. my axis controls lock up on both the throttle the stick and rudder pedals. Just the throttle and mixture and ailerons and elevators and rudders. All the other switches and buttons work. Can’t do anything but wait til the plane hit the ground. When I restart the flight everything is fine. This has happened twice.

It never occurred to me. Is it still X56? Or other hardware? with default planes or other?

Yes X56. I usually only fly the A2A Comanche, F6F Hellcat, BF109, P-38, and the Spitfire. Since I got FS2024 about 2 weeks ago all I’ve had in the air are the Comanche, 109 and the Hellcat. The Comanche is the only one that has frozen like that.
