hi what is a soft runway or bush like how do you know what ones are im trying to get SAR but i dont know what a soft runway and bush is ive done 2 but have no clue when and what when done them
What you need is a grass runway which you find often at small airports/airports in African bush, English countryside, American farm strips etc. I am no longer sure how many landings you need to make but the dot will go green in the Specialisations menu once you are allowed to look for the Gold Star Mission - once you have done that you are good to go!
To find one you must start in employee mode. Scroll down on the mission EFB to see what the landing strip looks like. If that is not the one, go back and look at another.
Tail wheel licence and be at level 20.
Once you have these, the employee section will offer you a “gold star mission” which you have to do before you will be allowed to start a company for this search and rescue.
I am assuming you have the funds to buy a company and a plane for S&R. I cant recall how much one costs but if you are allowed to buy companies you will see this.
Alternatively you can fly this in employee mode until you do.
