Who would believe there are plenty of volcanoes in Saudi Arabia ? Indeed there are. Not as impressive as the Tibesti ones nor the Chile’s, but many small craters with lava fields can be found on the west coast.
This flight plan will bring you over a series of small craters and 2 major volcanoes across the Saudi Arabia.

Let’s go…
Take off from Medina city and head south west over the town… then east to the beginning of the craters field :
Then south along a quite impressive field of craters :
After about 40 miles, head south west to visit two major volcanoes, around Wadi Al Fora’a :
And back east to the lava fields :
Again, plenty of craters… you would spend a day to check them all :
A small course deviation will bring you to Al Waba crater over a black lava field… worth seeing :
After a last turn over the craters field, we go east to Mecca, over desert…
