Hope the registration can be saved to a livery-basis. As with OP it’s fully driving me crazy that when switching liveries flightnumber and sometimes the registration of the previous aircraft is retained. especially when these air defined in Aircraft.cfg to always be correct when the livery is selected. The priority should at least be changed.
- When selecting a aircraft, version or livery. Load in the predefined registration, callsign and flight number.
- Then it’s up to the pilot to open the tab Identification when desired to manually alter or update the loaded registration.

No thanks. I want to set it once for all my planes and forget about it.
The game ( including 2020 ) used to load tail numbers, callsigns and flight numbers from the aircraft.cfg. It was no problem to have a call sign / flight number unique to every plane and livery.
Being forced to have one tail number / call sign for every plane, and having to edit it every time you change planes or paints is a massive waste of time.
Every time I fly ( and seen numerous streamers get hit with this ), I completely forget about it until the flight is loaded… then ATC calls it out
and I’d have to quit the flight to change it.
If you want it to persist across all your planes - add a checkbox. But most of the people switch from GA to airlines, then change airlines and planes all the time, and it’s extremely annoying.
- Read tail numbers, airline / callsign, flight numbers from aircraft.cfg ( so devs, livery creators can set ready-made callsigns.
- Allow users to override TN, callsign in the game menu
- Allow users to override TN, callsign in the EFB during flight ( so you don’t have to quit )
- TN, callsign persists per plane and per livery.
- Add option for TN, callsign to be set for All Aircraft
