Since I’m trying to resolve an issue in MSFS, and in case it might need doing.
I’ve had to Reset or Uninstall previously for one reason or another, so I hate to see my progress sitting at 0%, but to go through redoing all my activities to clear those 0% is a trial. I’ve completed Leg 14 of Bordeaux to Mont Blanc three times, it’s not fun
Reloading 200+ GB off the web is bad enough (I would love to save the installer on a local drive, I wouldn’t mind so much)
Your settings are kept in the cloud, and unless something goes wrong, with a re-installation, you will be asked if you want to restore them.
Don’t recall being asked to restore, was this added recently.

I believe it has always been a feature.
I was asked both times I did a reinstall.

I am having the same issue. SO FRUSTRATING. How did you actually resolve this? I noted the comments in this thread, but have never been asked by Steam to reinstall the settings after an update. Just wondering how you fixed it, since we are having the same problem
