Current plan is to release traffic to the Partner members on April 15th. It’s considered an early access release.
Ok, time to become a Partner, then.
I was using it last night and the whole thing shut itself down. I have never had that happen before. I called ATC and got no response, then I suddenly noticed SI had stopped running entirely. Hopefully this is a one off. At least it saved me having to get clearance to land!
I’m switching from BATC to SI and have some questions:
What are the recommended settings inside SI and MSFS2024 to fly with visible Multiplayer and Ship traffic?
Do I need other addons, like FSTL?
What is the latest info when traffic injection will go live?
Just disable all native multiplayer aircraft and ATC. If you install FSTL it works flawlessly without further setup.
Now traffic injection will be available for all premium users soon-ish, i think SI is the way to go. In my opinion this will be the AI VATSIM alternative with full coverage, unscripted ATC, it feels very immersive especially with enroute traffic talking to ATC in premium voices.
Also it’s a whole ecosystem with a lot of features like talking to FO for checklists, cabin crew, talk to ground services and also a free product tier that is connected to the premium network.
They have a very high pace of development and great support on discord, very responsive and improvements are made almost every day of the week.
I think it is also not that expensive, considering all the types of AI involved to make it unscripted and there’s no tokens limit or something you have to monitor or purchase later on depending on usage. Personally i am not a fan of a token limit, which can become very expensive if you let all comms use the premium voices.
I am new to SI but i did become partner because i can tell they are working very hard and they have a lot of passion for the project. I can also see a lot of other users contributing as much as they can as a result of this, there is lots of positivity and excitement because they are keeping users informed about what’s going on behind the scenes and letting them participate.
I’m very hyped about this project.
i love SI… in some situations im not sure, if it is a real person on the atc, so realistic voices and “flow” the co-pilot, the flight infos from the cabin crew.. there are so much nice details in it, what im missing in other tools, i mean its not necessary but nice to have for more immersion ![]()
also the headings are much better than batc
im also very excited for the upcoming traffic injection
Doesn’t this also mean that you won’t be able to see other actual live players? I’m torn because I want the injection that FSLTL (or soon SI) has to offer, but I enjoy seeing the other players around me as well.
You will be able to see and hear other SI users as well as AI injected traffic. Si uses SkyNet to let you hear and see other live players. You won’t be able to see the live players from MSFS multiplayer.
Yeah the part about hearing SI I knew as I currently use it. I was just wondering about the MSFS live players. I particularly enjoy seeing the interesting names people come up with.
Ah well.
You can leave the built-in multiplayer traffic turned on if you want to. It just may be a little weird to have those planes on top of SkyNet. Especially if other SkyNet users also have the built-in multiplayer on lol
Hello Pilot’s
I have a probleme for use AI Say Intention on COM 2 in BE58
I can’t get COM 2 to work on SayIntention with MSFS2020’s BE58.
I’ve tried all the configurations, and COM 2 always remains OFF on SayIntention.
Has anyone found the cause and solution to this problem ?
Thank you by advance
Thanks VirtuSim
Il will test tomorrow
I’ll be black
YES
Thank you VirtuSim
That’s work,
I hadn’t noticed the panel between the PFD and the MFD which allows you to select COM2
New to SI, coming from BATC. Is it normal for ATC not to re-inquire if you don’t respond to them? It’s like they don’t even care if you respond to them or not.
I’m not a super-regular user of SI, but from my experience that is indeed a problem that occurs regularly. I’ve also noticed that SI doesn’t correct you if you read back the wrong frequency. Hopefully they can improve that.
It may depend on your stirictness settings, which are configurable about how slack in what you say it lets you be.
