An easier way may just to be to turn the intercom volume for the cabin crew down to zero. Theyāll still be there, but you wonāt have to hear them. And I think you can do that in the SI app nowā¦
Iāve had a weird thing where when flying (GA) between 2 airports where I would expect traffic:
- airport I am departing from - traffic as expected
- En route some traffic but thins out the further and longer I fly
- Arrival airport no traffic at all
Did 2 flights - Bristol EGGD to Blackbushe, and Blackbushe to Duxford, anti- clockwise around London
I flew close-ish to Gatwick and Stanstead and did not see any commercial traffic in the area of either and, again, in both cases the destination airport was devoid of traffic whilst my departure had the expected amount.
I have traffic set to 11 in SI

While I love say intentions, if there is one thing Iād like changed, Iād like a VATSIM-style prefile page for ifr. Not just a submission button and thatās it.
While the vast majority of people pay for both Navigraph and Say Intentions, the few of us who donāt pay navigraph have no way to amend our flight plans or enter updated SIDs and STARS until weāre in the game and have to deal with it then. On vatsim, if STAR1 is no longer there and now itās STAR2, I can change that at prefile. Canāt do that in say intentions.
There is a vfr prefile tool. Give us an ifr one.
New Stream Deck functionality with the latest update, much like GSXās Stream Deck profiles released recently, is another game-changer. Very cool.
I recently got Say Intentions and GSX, one of the features they mention about the intergration between the two is that Say Intentions will automatically spawn GSX ground crew at whatever gate Say Intentions assigns you after landing.
I have yet to figure out how this is meant to work ? Itās all enabled in the Say Intentions GSX settings but when i go to the assigned gate there is no one there to wave me in and no GSX vehicles ready to take the cargo out. Instead i ask the cabin to begin deboarding and then all the GSX vehicles spawn in.
Im not sure if im doing something wrong or am i missunderstanding what is meant to happen or how it works.
Anyone got this working ?
It WAS working for meā¦ but hasnāt been recently. I think there may be issues when thereās something else also using the GSX API - for me, itās an add-on that adds the GSX menu to the EFB.
Note that SI is pretty clear that this is one of their āexperimentalā features, and that you may encounter problems with itā¦
I tried to buy the standalone āEntourageā version on the say intentions website today and kept on being directed to the subscription service.
After raising a ticket with SI support I was told that they had stopped selling this as a one-off purchase.
I notice, however, that it is still showing as being available to purchase on their own website, on Contrail and, I think also, on Simmarket.
Not sure why it is still showing as being available for purchase on all these websites when Support said it was no longer available as a one-off purchase.

Edit: I have contacted support again for further clarification since their initial response didnāt sit right with me. In their second response they apologised for initially incorrectly saying that the package was no longer available as a one off purchase. In their second response they have said that āEntourageā still remains available to buy as a one-off purchase.
Honestly, I find this very strange. As I said it still (?) seems to be on offer on their own website, Contrail and Simmarket.
I might contact support again with another ticket (the previous one has now been closed down) to ask for further clarification.

thatās unfortunate, and I see they jacked up the advertised price. At the very least, they should honor the ad and then remove it.
My guess is Entourage was actually popular, but made them no money over time so they killed it to force a subscription.
I donāt know whether you saw my edited post above but I contacted support again by email and said that āEntourageā was still being offered for purchase not only on their own website but also on Contrail and Simmarket and that I wondered why this was a thing when the product was no longer available as a one off purchase.
I received an email back from Support (the same person in fact who responded to my original ticket) apologising for giving me the wrong information initially and that āEntourageā was still in fact available to buy. The reason why I couldnāt buy it (apparently) was because I was still in the trial period (it had actually finished a few hours earlier) and that because of this the option to buy the stand alone version wasnāt showing up on my account.
To be honest it all sounds a bit strange to me still ā¦ I am told, however, that admin will contact me tomorrow and arrange for me to buy it on the same account.
I am left wondering if maybe the support messages were from AI rather than a human since the messages were from someone called āSmiffyā. I gather that there is a āCaptain Smiffyā who is an AI in the App. Maybe a coincidence but perhaps AI stands in for support when humansā clock off from work?
Anyway, I guess I will find out tomorrow whether the mystery will solve itself.
