ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Trying to assign a function for buttons 4 and 5 or simultaneous functions like left and right clicks do not work when using the input scanning on controller/mouse page.

1.open Mouse page
2.select a button to assign input
3.ckick scan, click button 4 or 5 on mouse (or any button)

I have been able to successfully scan button 4 and 5, it is extremely difficult though. While scanning is active ANY movement of the mouse in X or Y axis will cancel the scanning.

My work around was to scan them on a PC which works much easier there. Then hopefully it syncs when starting Xbox. Haven’t had a check it yet on Xbox to see if it synced. I find it impossible on Xbox.

Edit: The work around didn’t work. Basically anything mouse related won’t sync over from PC to Xbox. The mouse is basically ■■■■■ on XBOX. The whole sim is ■■■■■ on Xbox.

I have the same issue on Xbox. In fact the buttons 4 and 5 are not recognized on Xbox. I have a logitech G203 plugged in usb.
It is working perfectly on msfs 2020.

Instead of scanning, click the cog to the right of the bindings and you can select a specific input on the following screen…

Did that already. First of all that whole interface is ridiculous. The mouse icons are way to small for one thing. I have to get up really close to my monitor to see what button is what. And even when I did that, which was not long after the sim released, it still doesn’t work. I can’t get buttons 4 or 5 to do anything. In 2020 I had it set that when I clicked the right mouse buttons at the same time it would reset my cockpit view. That doesn’t work either. Nothing much works in Xbox mouse options. Just an overall bad design too.
