This is the same issue that others are reporting with ground textures bleeding through satelite imagery in the bototm. Search Ground Texture tiles in the forums.

My son is a computer and electrical engineer and he gave me this big massive word for what is wrong. It’s definitely not our machines. My son explained it as like missing pieces of a puzzle. Basically, the overlay is not fulfilling its job, and fixing the maps has to be completely redone by MSFS. My son explaining this to me is like a brain surgeon going over surgery to a patient. He basically told me that MSFS is such an advanced software environment it doesn’t take much to screw the entire experience up. Basically, the simulator is far more advanced than most of our PCs. At their research lab, they are running photogrammetry over servers with 32-core processors that cost more than my GMC AT4 truck. Here MSFS expects us to run it on a Ford Pinto 90 horsepower rig. There will be problems for ages. LOL

Perhaps it’s the reason MSFS2024 needs to be created. I have a strong belief that the new version of the sim will use azure cloud renders graphics to then give us more headroom in the PC for add ons and aircraft systems.

Hello @turion1973,
As you are reporting 2 issues, moving to World

The blurry runway is perhaps a setting you have for Anisotropic filtering.

The other issue has a bug topic on it.

I have tried setting 4, 8, and 16 no change at all.
