Flying over Lake Superior and looking at Michigan. It seems that the Lake shows deep canyons around the land.

I flew in the coordinates given by the OP over Lake Superior (47.946188, -88.519704) and saw no terrain anomalies. Also Microsoft Store version.

It could be because there could be an add-on causing the problem:

I fly over superior often and have never seen that.

I also fly over the area and this is what I see. I thought maybe it was altitude-related (LOD) but I went all the way up to the altitude this screenshot was taken and there were still no depressions.

But I’m sure others would like to know, once you’ve figured it out, what happened on your end to cause the issue. I don’t think any of us doubt you, as you’ve shown the evidence. We just don’t have the problem. Is it a Community add-on or some other something going on?
