Schipol (EHAM), Netherlands - Taxiway A and fatal collision

In a short hop from Manchester (UK) to Schipol (Netherlands), I landed on 18C and was being guided to gate G5 via taxiway A. This is the famous one where planes go over a bridge and the A4 road runs underneath. However, to my surprise, the building on taxiway A has been rendered incorrectly making it impossible for a 787 to travel along it without colliding with the building and boom!! You can’t go around it or you’ll fall off the bridge onto the road below. This is a premium airport included in the Premium Deluxe package and a major European hub. Can someone fix it please?

There are a lot more issues with this airport:

  • missing threshold’s and runway warnings on the ground (see google maps),
  • urban vehicles are crossing the taxiway near rwy 18R/36L,
  • ATC sent you to rwy’s where there is no departure possible/allowed (I.e. rwy 18R),
  • second tower is far form accurate (there is a freeware replacement),
  • no correct taxi bridge/taluut over Handelskade, A4, A5, N520 and Schipholtunnel (looks rather odd now),
  • there are lorries placed at a parking/gate spot and
  • more little things.

I made a request in zendesk two month ago. I got the answer it was solved. But it isn’t. Maybe for later updates or maybe not. I don’t know. I think this airport will collect max 2 stars if this was a payware marketplace airport.

That’s because solved doesn’t mean solved.
This post will explain.

I hope the scrum master knows :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t think Microsobo actually know the definition of either of those words. Everything to do with the “Premium Deluxe” content is half-■■■■■, incomplete, and feels thrown together as quickly as possible, then abandoned.
