Screen Tear inside cockpit on Xbox

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Screen Tearing inside planes on Xbox Series X.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Always

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Start a fly
  2. Go inside the cockpit
  3. Watch the airplane parts go into screen tearing when you pan the camera.

YOUR SETTINGS

Xbox Series X default (HDR on)
Monitor with Gsync, Vsync, VRR and all stuff activated
I have this problem only on MSFS2024, not on MSFS 2020 or any other game.
The tearing appears only inside the cockpit, not on the outside camera, and the tears are only on the plane textures, not on the world outside the windows.

Thank you for reporting this!! This was actually the first thing I’ve noticed when doing my first flight in FS2024.

It was never an issue in FS2020 and would be great if it could be fixed. Really kills the immersion when the rest of the game runs smoothly.

Great to hear that I am not the only one having this issue. All other Xbox user does not have this problem? It is absolutely obvious to not notice, and destroys the entire flight experience every time the camera moves.

Very very annoying, it’s been like this since day one on xbox for me.

When this absurd problem will be fixed???

I had this too. I changed the display setting on my Xbox, from 120hz to 60hz.

That change to 60hz fix the problem?

It did for me, yeah. Give it a try, and let us know how you get on.

Yes, it works. But… 60hz takes away all the fluidity of movement, inside the cabin the camera movements are jerky, it becomes slow. I cannot understand how the 2024 version has this level of errors, which the 2020 version never had.
