Seastar L & R Probe Switches Either Non-Op or Not Illuminated When ON

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Since patch 1.2.7.0, the L & R Probe switches either do not work or the indicators are not illuminating when they are turned ON.

Seastar

  2. Power up aircraft
  3. Attempt to turn on L & R Probes

N/A, using mouse and clicking in-cockpit switches. No peripherals are mapped to pitot switches.

• I reinstalled the sim and I am not seeing this now. I will continue to monitor.

This seems to have disappeared.

I know I was not the only one with the issue as it was mentioned by another user in the official Seastar thread.

Is what we are seeing here an issue with how aircraft are patched during the sim update process?

This is the strange part. I updated the sim the evening the patch came out. I didn’t do anything with the Seastar that evening.

The following day, with a fresh launch of the sim, I saw the issue with the probes.

I had another issue that I thought a reinstall might cure, so I reinstalled the sim. After that reinstall, I no longer see the issue.

Are the aircraft not getting patched correctly or is outdated data being retained somewhere in the user directory that maintains the streamed data?

Something is not right here.
