Hello @NixonRedgrave,

I just attempted to reproduce this, and I did not experience the same issue as you. I tried a flight in the Seastar from both a ready for takeoff and cold & dark state. Both times, the airspeed indicator and altimeter functioned as expected.

This pic was taken following a cold & dark startup. Note both the ASI and ALT are reading properly.

Is there a chance you might have a mod conflict that is causing this problem?

Thanks,

No mods whatsoever and a completely empty Community folder.

I don’t even have a single 2020 Marketplace aircraft enabled, either.

The only content in my sim is the base, deluxe and premium 2024 content.

I don’t have anything pertaining to electrical, or hydraulic assigned to my peripherals. I use my mouse on all switches in the cockpit.

I just have flight controls, trim, flaps, throttles, props, mixture/condition, parking brake, autopilot, and camera controls assigned.

You know I flew this aircraft in earlier versions of the sim and loved it, so this is a new thing for me.

What do you think? Dump my rolling cache? Try a reinstall of the sim? I am open to anything.

I’m not sure what to recommend. Maybe let’s see if anyone else from the community is also experiencing this issue and gather some additional data points.

I’m doing a reinstall, since that process is so much more streamlined with 2024.

I will report back the results.

Thank you for taking the time here, it is much appreciated!

Solution:

I missed the static port cover on the right rear flank of the aircraft.

That is one “bug” resolved! Ha!
