ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The “Stab Trim Runaway” warning message comes on frequently when flying the aircraft in normal conditions at normal trim values. I have the aircraft loaded with default fuel and only the pilot’s weight. I have tried a number of conservative power settings and cannot suppress the message. Trim outside the green range will often be required for straight and level flight.

Note: the developer is aware of the issue via the official Seastar thread:

If this is pilot error, perhaps some documentation for this aircraft is required.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Seastar

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every Time

I see same bug. Stability trim warning stays illuminated during flight. Can only be switched off via manual setting of stability trim. Using AP and trim drips below green zone and you get a warning. This happens in most phases of flight including cruise. I have tried adjusting airspeed and it makes no difference, trim remains below green zone with warning light on.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Same as noted, also same issue when starting on runway.

I tested it and the airpseed indicator is stuck at 0 in addition the stab trim runaway message. (Yes i removed pitot covers first)

Did you do what I did and miss the Static Port Cover on the eight rear flank of the aircraft?

probably, since i didnt know it was there

I’m not sure that this is a bug after all. It works more like a speed caution warning. Keeping torque at 56 at 12000 ft gives you about 158 kias (about 25 knots below the red line) and the warning almost dissapears, blinking every now and then. At a torque of 54 the warning nearly dissapears.

Also I’ve found that is related with the CG. When the aircraft fuel tanks are half loaded trim stays above 10% and warning does not appear:
