Second Monitor!

Hello ,

I have a second monitor for my Msfs2024 , I tried to drag my EFB into it , but it does not move from my Main monitor to the Second one !

Any idea how to do it ?

Hi

After hitting the TAB key (by default), on the upper right part of your EFB, you will find this icon with a square and an arrow, which makes your window pop up from “inside the sim”.

Then you’ll be able to move the window like any other window, on your second screen.

Cheers,
K.

Hi @TeemingChief ,

Thank you for your post! Your topic has been moved to a sub-category of the User Support Hub

The General Discussion category is meant for discussions that fall outside of our other sub-categories.

If you would like other users to help you with an issue you are experiencing in the sim, consider these User Support Hub categories for your future post:

Miscellaneous

Hi again,

I’m glad it worked.

Hint 1

Remember to give back the focus to Flight Simulator after you have popped-out the EFB. NVIdia Frame Generation only works when your simulator is focused. Clic anywhere in the simulator to be sure that it’s the primary application, and NVidia FG will come back, hopefully moving you away from the 50fps.

Hint 2

Never leave your mouse cursor on a popped-out window. If you do so, then you controls (joystick, quadrant, whatever) will not be “heard” by the simulator. A strange behavior I’ve never managed to explain, but so it goes so I thought you may want to know

Cheers,
K.

Thank you for your suggestions !

Unfortunately i still get a significant frame drop !

Maybe it is my second monitor with max resolution 1024 x 768 , were my Main monitor is 3440 x 1440 !

No idea !

Anyway i will keep on experimenting !
